Chonk and the Hooligans are playing this year’s ‘Taste for Artisans’ party @ Jack London Square in Oakland, sponsored by East Bay Express. The show is on Saturday, April 3 @ 10:00 pm. We’re gonna be playing an unplugged set, straight jugband style, yo! Here is the tentative band-member line-up: Chonk - Sangin’, guitar, banjo Melanie Russo - Uke, sangin’ Michelle - Flute, percussion Jesika Allen - Drummin’, strummin’, & a’sangin’ Eliot Curtis - Stand up bass! fartin’ Ryan Boone - Fiddlin’ and a’diddlin’ The party goes from 5-11PM. Other bands playing include The Shants and The Dedications.
